Technical challenge
at a high level

FANUC at EMO Hannover

When FANUC asked us to build a stand for the EMO exhibition in Hannover, we knew it would be no run-of-the-mill project. As a famous brand for industrial robots and CNC-systems, they gave us a serious challenge. Suspending elements from the ceiling was not an option, but they did want to be unmissable in a jam-packed hall 9. So we got to work with an idea that is as big and open as the brand itself: a free-standing, slanted roof that literally bows to the visitors, inviting them to enter.

A roof that
demands attention

The roof was a true showstopper. We opted for a self-supporting sturdy timber construction without ceiling hooks or supports. The upholstery of 1900m² of printed textile ensured that the roof appeared neat and uniform – which was exactly what FANUC needed to instantly make the right first impression. Visible from every corner and yet approachable, a roof that immediately invites you to take a look.

The stand is divided into two worlds. A Techno gallery where the latest FANUC technologies can be seen in their full glory and a spacious catering corner where visitors can flop into a chair. This is the place where you can look around at your own pace, and really take the time to get to know FANUC. No rush, just a pleasant balance of professionalism and hospitality.

Working at
great heights

The construction was an adventure in itself. Our teams worked at great heights installing the timber frame and fabric upholstery – everything was planned to the smallest detail. Allowing us to erect a stand that literally stood its ground! With 15,500 ft² exhibition floor space and a roof structure of 3500 ft². The visitors could not miss it.

Future-proof and
impressive

Together with FANUC, we made a statement and constructed something that will stick in the memory. An open and impressive space that shows what they stand for, technology and accessibility hand in hand. FANUC is confident about the future, and we look back with pride on a splendid exhibition stand.
