The challenge
Renovating Microsoft’s head office, ‘The Outlook’ at Schiphol International Airport, to create a Customer Experience centre.
In this transformation the six core values: collaboration, openness/diversity, deliberate choices, commitment, focus time and refresh time were at the very heart of the process.
The concept
Interior architect D/DOCK created the Micro Polis concept. An innovative open working environment where the entire building is a customer experience. Where it is all about the new approach to work.

The result
A complete new-look office that has been designed as an open hub, a place where employees, partners, students and the public meet. No less than 72% of the property is open to the public and, as a result, remains enormously dynamic. For the employees, a great and inspiring workplace that reflects the character of Microsoft. We built the special custom-made furniture that lends this concept extra emphasis. .
