Continuity for customers

The insolvency of Van den Oever left many customers with questions about their projects. Gielissen immediately contacted the clients involved to take stock of the status of current and planned projects.

"It is precisely in such a situation that speed and clarity are important," says Jeroen van Beeck, Chief Commercial Officer at Gielissen. "We want customers to know where they stand, and we do our utmost to move projects forward without delay."

International assignments – including projects from the United States – are also being reviewed, with the aim of ensuring continuity.

Staff get future prospects

Gielissen is in talks with the curator and the Van den Oever team to see who can come to Gielissen. The preservation of knowledge, experience and familiar faces for customers is central to this.

"Insolvency is always a major event for the people involved," says Andre Hoeben, CEO of Gielissen. "That is precisely why it is important for us to look not only at projects, but also at the people behind the work. We do our best to offer them a new perspective for the future where possible."

Logical extension for Gielissen

Van den Oever's services are in line with those of Gielissen, which is active in interior design, exhibition presentations and events in several areas. "We build for brands that want to impress. On the exhibition floor, in their interior or during events," says Hoeben.

Gielissen is an international market player in the creation of meeting places, with more than 400 professionals and its own production facilities in the Netherlands, Germany and the US.
