From post office to
public location
In 2009, the former station post office was assigned a new purpose, housing multi-tenanted offices. In the meantime, the Municipality of Rotterdam has moved into the iconic building. An easy-to-reach and accessible place for all Rotterdam residents.
An interior with
lots of wooden details
The reception desks and the consultation workspaces were designed in line with the municipality’s guidelines, with as sustainable as possible solutions. Despite the void, the space feels acoustically very pleasant, and this is in part thanks to the woven vinyl floor covering. The interior is peppered with details in wood, creating a warm and open atmosphere.
